jSyncManager.org announces the second alpha release of the jSyncManager 3.0 Palm Hand-held Synchronization Core Application Set for Java, and the third beta release of the jSyncManager 3.0 API for Java.
TORONTO, CANADA, 9 July 2003 - The jSyncManager.org Development Team is pleased to announce the latest release of their Java tool for synchronizing PalmOS-based hand held computers the jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application Set alpha 02. This release builds upon the previous alpha release by improving jConduit plug-in installation, and through a myriad of bug fixes and performance enhancements.
"We're hoping that this will be our last alpha release of the jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application Set", said Brad Barclay, Lead Developer and Project Administrator for jSyncManager.org. "Once the online help subsystem is in place, the jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application Set will be feature-complete, and ready for beta testing. We need users to download and test thin release, so we can produce a solid beta".
Also announced today was the simultaneous release of the jSyncManager v3.0 API beta 03. This release brings the jSyncManager v3.0 API up to the same code level as the API files contained in the jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application Set alpha 02.
The jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application Set is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). The jSyncManager v3.0 API is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). Both are available, along with full source code, for immediate download through the jSyncManager.org web site.
